I've done two tours with Martial, Haute Route and Dolomites. Both have been great trips. Martial the guide is top notch and his enthusiasm for riding is contagious. The food and accommodations are also excellent. These tours are for experienced mountain bikers. You definitely want to be in shape. Of the two tours I've done, the Haute Route was the best in regard to quality single track and rideability.

I have done 4 trips with Martial and Alpsmountainbike to date and it has caused much trouble for me. It was amazing beyond words in all respects, to such an extent that I often find myself blankly staring into the distance during meetings, longing back to these memorable days on the best singletrack I have EVER ridden. I cannot recommend Martial and Alpsmountainbike highly enough! Thank you Martial, these trips form part of my top memories highlights reel and I hope to join for many more trips in future!!

I rode with Martial along with 4 other girlfriends and 3 solo riders on the Chamonix to Zermatt tour. Fabulous! Incredible route, riding, hotels and all the food was authentic and perfect for the experience. Fun and challenging, it was an experience not to miss if you like high mountain single track. I have run a guiding company for 29 years and highly recommend this one.

I did a the Tour de Mont Blanc with Martial at Alps Mountain Bike Tours a year ago. He is a great teacher - my skills developed under his expert tuition. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the terrain - including, for example, upcoming hazards on the track ahead; the best places for photos; how much water to carry until the next water station etc.

I did the tour with a guy whose review below one-starred the trip. When I saw that review I felt I had to post this comment, as I really thought that review was unfair. That rider was not fit enough for the trip, and he missed some of the days as a result. He said at the start that he had not trained on hills before coming out to the Alps. He was a nice person, and I enjoyed his company. That said, I think his experience was influenced by his lack of fitness.

One of the best companies offering MTB tours in the Alps and not only (at that time I used the services of several and I can compare). The tour from Chamonix to Zermat is a wonderful memory and experience.
