After Miss Russell passed, her family took over... Now, they take ALL of the nice/new donations and SELL THEM. They do NOT go to the residents. PLEASE consider twice before donating and make sure you follow up with where your donations go because they are ALL for profit. Such a SHAME what this family has done after Miss Russell's passing. God bless her and shame on yall.

A beautiful facility inside and out! Amazing and loving staff that you can tell they have a gentle heart to serve. A close family feeling. Experienced the game room and had fun playing with the residents.

We had a cookie party, as we do every year. Timing was great. The Corvette club was there showing the Fancy cars. We also had help carrying all the cookies in. Wonderful people!

The Russell Home for Atypical Children is a wonderful place for anyone with severe disabilities. Everyone there is treated as family by the staff. The grandchildren of the founder, Grandma Russell, have kept the Home in the Russell family. When I went to check the place out, I was very, very impressed by the care and love each person that lives or stays there gets.

What a wonderful organization. The Bear Team filled orders for every child with glee. We were so happy to help their residents celebrate Christmas. This organization is one of the BEST in Orlando. Amazing folks!!!

For A-typical children, those born with genetic defects that prevent them from ever growing up and those with disfigurement. Each and everyone there is loved and cared for All the Same by a wonderful staff. Starting out out of her home, a comparatively tiny home grown into what it is today along with many like-minded individuals.

The mural pictures on the wall that you see were there from an artist way back in the day. During construction of upgrades to the building, they were revealed for the first time in years and will be covered up and will be covered up for many more. I have preserved them on Google Maps for all to see. Russell home is always looking for volunteers that have love to give.
