We came in from out of town and had one restaurant circled as a must try, Hui Tou Xiang. It exceeded our expectations by miles. Of course the food and atmosphere is the star of the show but our server Mya elevated our family’s experience. She easily walked us through the menu with clear guidance and helping us curate an amazing lunch. She even took it up a level by explaining the 2:1 ratio of black vinegar to soy sauce with a dab of chili oil for our dipping sauce. We will be coming back on our next visit into town and look forward to bringing more of our family in to experience this local gem. Fantastic!!!

Lovely lovely dumpling place! One of the recent times I finished my whole plate and didn’t feel heavy, but fulfilled. Highly recommend getting one of all four types of dumplings and sharing family style. The scallion pancakes are also a fantastic appetizer, in the words of my FIL: “who knew scallions could do so much?”
Limited seating, but people don’t tend to camp out long, and there’s always a bar seat open.
The service, food and atmosphere were incredible.

This place is the absolute BEST!!!!! The noodles are so fresh! The beef is tender and broth is out of this world. The spicy wontons are so full of flavor. Garret was such a wonderful server. We’ve been here a few times and have never had bad service. We also drive from Bakersfield for the yummy food and I will continue to do so.

This is a really nifty noodle and dumpling restaurant!

I ordered the following:

Pork Hock 肘花: thinly sliced cured pork
Hui Tou 回頭: dumplings fried on both sides

I saved some of the leftover garlic soy sauce that came with the pork hock and used it for the dumplings. It paired pretty well!

If you’re in the area, swing by for some delicious dumplings!

The pork hock was pretty yummy as well! Great for sharing!

Great value for dumplings in Hollywood! The plates are plentiful and is perfect for sharing. I enjoyed their Hong Kong Style Wontons the most. The Hui Toi were also delicious too. The space is small with a few tables and some bar seating but worth trying out if you’re in the area. The bartenders were nice and helpful too. Overalll, good find in Hollywood!

I just had an amazing experience here! The service was top-notch, and the staffs were super friendly and attentive.

The beer and cocktail selection is really nice, perfect for pairing with the food. Highly recommend the Sunday Funday!

Speaking of food, the dumplings were out of this world! The lamb and mushroom skewers were definitely the stars of the show. I also loved the soup dumplings and the "huitou" dumplings--so flavorful!

Don't skip the beef noodles, and especially the Liang ban cold noodles; they were a total game-changer.

Oh, and I have to mention the chili oil! The server suggested buying a jar and trying it with ice cream, and I was curious enough to give it a shot at home. Trust me, it's surprisingly delicious!

All in all, Hui Tou Xiang is a must-visit. I can't wait to go back!

Delicious pork and shrimp dumplings, cucumber salad, friendly and fantastic service, great atmosphere. It really hit the spot for a great Friday dinner with some friends!
