The North Texas Food Bank is an amazing place to donate your time and/or money. If you're dropping off food donations make sure you take a minute to pop in their lobby and check out the Harvest Market. $1 = 3 meals so every purchase makes a huge impact.

Myself and my Spouse volunteered at Plano. They have shift time which they adhere very strict, they don't provide bottled or room temperature water, also felt few key senior folks are showing some sort of difference. I was expecting more happy faces while working and Dan was good to us.

Pretty cool there’s a gate you roll into and a check in office ignore the sign that reads “call for check in” someone from warehouse will come out and chock your wheels. Easy in and out.

Very large building. There was a check-in process as we enter in. There are lots of hand sanitizer all around. Just before volunteering we all had to wash the hands. Then the coordinator takes us what is the work for the day and how each of us could do the work. It was very well organized volunteering work. It is the kind of the work suited for volunteering. Clean and we'll maintained facility.

We would like to volunteering again. Everyone can check the website and see if they can volunteer for some time.

It's sad that I see people's donations in the wrong hands. There is a church on Military parkway that is letting a helper fill back of their truck loaded with boxes of this donated food. Tonight, they brought in 2 truck loads home for their personal use. This is a weekly thing, too. It is a box of food, yes but not boxes and boxes of donated food. I definitely won't donate to this place. So wrong and sad.

Had such a great time today partnering with #NTFB and Texas Western Hospitality! The whole experience was awesome, and I can't wait to go back and do it again! Had so much fun with Ms. Yolanda and the team packing up condiments!

Absolutely wonderful place for doing the community work. I participated with other colleagues at this place this week for a global volunteering month and loved the cooperation and warmth of the staff. I would love to go back.
