Excellent and professional people. Came out and helped me identify areas where we can improve the efficiency of our new house.

Only downside was the wait for the appointment (~2-3 months), but was well worth it.

We had worked with C.E.E. through our business in the past, but it wasn't until recently that we had an energy audit in our home. The very professional and friendly technicians helped us find many ways in which we could improve efficiency in our home. The whole process was no-pressure, no-stress.
Now we have a better idea about how to save money while also improving our home. We also received information about grant programs for improvements to a home as old as ours (120+ years) as well as low to zero percent interest loan programs.
We would enthusiastically recommend a C.E.E. energy audit to anyone in an older home here in the Twin Cities interested in lowering their carbon footprint or environmental impact!

I would never recommend doing business with this company. Especially if self employed. They don’t communicate well, and waste your time. I was denied because they weren’t aware of a new loan, even tho it was in my credit report but they didn’t see it. A month waste of me and my contractors time.

CEE is an amazing project synthesizing hands-on installations of things like flowsaver aerators for sinks , showerheads, weatherstripping for doors, technical support, referrals for trusted contractors, and energy efficiency help... for both homeowners and renters, and financing for efficiency and renewable energy improvements to buildings and homes.

They also have a powerful and growing presence in general outreach and education which is very committed to inclusiveness, centering BIPOC and women in a refreshingly inclusive way.
I love that they are not only diverse in the people they serve and are recruiting, but also in the deeply multifaceted way the company walks its vision of sustainability and community.

So my story starts with searching for a new home. I finally found one and was given a sheet by the sellers that stated this house was in a neighborhood that offered a $4000 grant. The sheet stated that I would recieve a $4000 dollar grant to help with closing costs. Well I kept in contact and when I went to turn in my paperwork Brenda Yaritz said that there was still funds left for one more grant. She told me that she could not gareentee the funds if someone else used them but this was not the case in my situation. That night I turned all the paperwork in and the next morning they sent an email stating that the neiborhood did not renew their contract and the funds that were available are not to be used on that now. I asked when the contract ended but did not get an answer. They told me this in october so contracts evidently do not go for the full year. There is nothing on the sheet that states when the contract ends. It just states for the year 2019.

They're great at what they do but they're not good with numbers. Please doublecheck your invoice and rebates before you spend over a month trying to get a refund.
