I am a social worker for San Joaquin county and I come here almost daily for my community of Stockton to get them food and needs. The people that work in this facility are amazing people that are literally gods workers. They're angels they have provided me more than enough food for families, kids children everybody I will not stop thanking everyone that works for the emergency food bank nutrition education and health. I want to give a thanks to Miranda. Because she's so amazing. She's always helped me. People try to cut you, but if you are open and truthful, they will always help you and help cutters. I will not stop thanking, emergency food bank here in Stockton Ca. You guys are amazing. Keep up the good work. We need more people like the workers of Emergency Food bank in Stockton.

If you’re running low on food, this is the place to go. They do not refuse anyone as long as you have identification. They allow you to come twice a month. The food they provide is great. A little bit can go a long way if you really need it. Thanks to all the volunteers who put their time into helping serve the community at the Food Bank!

Covid has affected our family a couple times now, both physically and financially. We thank God for the food bank for helping us get by during these rough times. They have blessed our family so much! Last time we went we got so much extra that we are able to feed 7 of us and share with our friends. They even gave us bottled waters and toilet paper, something we really needed. We are beyond grateful and their generosity and kindness has made me tear up a few times.

I've been going through extreme hardship so I decided to pay someone to take me across town to the food bank. I could only muster up $5 which would be enough to take me there. When we got there as the person was dropping me off I walked up trying to get a box and their head of security which is an elderly black man saw me get out of my ride's car and as I proceeded to go to pick up my box he stopped me and told me that if I came in a car that I had to do the ride around to pick up the box. I explained my situation to him and told him that I was only able to afford to pay the person $5 which is when he callously told me that I was going to have to go and get some more gas then. I just hate it when people who lack empathy are put in positions of power in places that are designed to help those that are needy. People like that with no heart should not be working for the public sector.
