I brought my daughter here because she needed dental work done under general anesthesia and as a mom who was putting her child to sleep for the first time i was nervous and scared. The moment I walked in everyone was reassuring and the anesthesiologist and Dentist were amazing. They made the experience a great one for my daughter despite everything she had done. They gave me updates before and after the procedure and made me feel at ease. My daughter loved this office and I cant thank them enough for taking care of my baby. After she woke up she did amazing and had minimal pain, this is a couple hrs after her surgery.

It was disappointing. The clinic did not appear clean. The female hygienist and dentist, came across as rude and unprofessional. It left such a negative impression that I wouldn’t consider returning. In contrast, mobile dental services have been much better in my experience. Male dentists, in particular, seem to provide superior care and professionalism.

The consultation staff here is completely rude. I had to jump threw hoops go threw different facilities, all while my child’s teeth are getting worse, I’ve been waiting and it has taken 2 years just to get an authorization, for the work to be done that’s was to be in a hospital setting only to be told it will be another 9 month wait!

And they can do it in the clinic, All because this office staff has took it upon themselves to translate my child’s pediatrician recommendation to benefit themselves.

I explained clearly and still was disregarded and advised by the rudest consultant ever how she seems to understand paperwork.

What was the point to get transferred out and wait to see a specialist for work this clinic could not do, what was the point to get a release and continue to wait only to be brought back full circle for a consultant to determine how this will be handled.

If they can not take everything in consideration of the totality of my child’s health, then I definitely do not trust them with my child’s life!

If they can not have to common courtesy to not speak over and continue to speak when I’m speaking and not hear or try to understand how this all transpired to this moment then I would not trust them at all!

I highly recommend you take your children elsewhere where they are cared about instead of a place that only cares about how many surgeries they can perform to line their pockets!

After going to 3 other offices who refused to treat my 9 year old son who has cerebral palsy and other health issues the dentist here not only did his cleaning wonderfully and without any sedation, they were so sweet and gentle with him. Amazing care thank you so much!

In my first visit they told me my child would need general anesthesia to remove 4 teeth and I trusted them in this was the best care for her. When they first called me to make an appointment they said they were contacting me but I had 0 calls or messages. When I called to make my appointment I had to reschedule and try to contact them but they did not answer for 2 days!! When I was finally able to reschedule they were so rude about it and question what was the excuse so important to not bring my child in. After this incident I decided to go somewhere else and like many other parents on the reviews my child did NOT need to go under general anesthesia. The other dentist said they do not use general anesthesia unless 1. the kid moves a lot or 2. the child has behavioral issues but LAUGHING GAS is the go to for all parents unless the parents decides they want general anesthesia. At the other dentist they did not remove her teeth but instead they use these porcelain teeth and her smile is more beautiful than ever!!! I recommend all parents to get a second opinion somewhere else... there is a reason this place has bad reviews

Not all staff but most of them are unprofessional and rude and I would not trust to bring my kids here. If you work with children you have a duty to be caring, understanding, and patient which they were not. I do not recommend this place at all. They wanted to do all these things to my kids so I went somewhere else for a second opinion and they did everything they needed without putting them to sleep and where I can still be with them. These employees were bothered by the fact I didn't want to leave my children alone.

Had scheduled my sons first appointment with this office a week in advance only to show up the day of it for the front staff to tell me my app was “canceled” because I never confirmed and that they had bee trying to reach me, Although I never had any missed calls or voicemails from them. The day off the appointment I called twice in the morning to confirm my appointment since I never received a text reminder like most offices do and the call would ring and end up saying they weren’t available and call ending no voicemail option. Even if I didn’t confirm, offices don’t just cancel appointments because you don’t answer the phone. They tried to fix the mistake by squeezing us in but I read the reviews before going in and this proved what everyone else is saying about this place being very unprofessional. We declined and left. Huge red flag right off the bat LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS

In all honesty, I liked the staff and the layout of the clinic, but I was immediately turned off when the dentist wanted to extract my 3 year olds front upper four teeth before they took her x-ray. She said, "to keep her under sedation for a shorter amount of time, the front would most likely be pulled." The x-rays came back did not show any extreme decay or infection and I stressed I would pay out of pocket to do whatever for her front four as those make a child's face. She still said, "I need to prepare you for the worst and the worst is they will be removed." I had seen 3 other pediatric dentists previously and none of them mentioned extractions. A baby root canal and crowns were a possibility. I reached out to our long time family friend who is a dentist and she said, "there is absolutely no reason for those teeth to be extracted based on the x-rays and baby root canals only add around an extra 5 minutes to the procedure. Do not let them touch her teeth!". My daughter had her procedure done at Children's Dental Surgery Center in Santa Ana and they look absolutely beautiful. The staff was nothing short of amazing. She ended up getting 5 cavities filled, 1 silver crown on her back molar, and her front four teeth only needed two tiny baby root canals and have beautiful white crowns on them. She was only under for about an hour and a half. I can not imagine, had I gone here having to look at my sweet girls face without any teeth. I'd definitely get a second opinion if Healthy Smiles for Kids mentions anything about extractions regarding your child.
