We were both delighted to have had the opportunity to stay at this hotel. It is well placed in its locality. It has unique features as if you stepped back in time. A master piece of excellence in its conversion. The staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and professional. The food is awesome with a variety for most people and the dining settings offer an unparalleled view across the Mediterranean Sea.

This resort is the crown jewel of Èze. If you love the charm of the village, imagine actually staying inside of it. Many of the rooms and suites are distributed throughout the medieval cobblestone streets, so you are fully immersed in the landscape. It feels like having a piece of the village all to your own.

While day trippers can walk the public areas, as a guest, you gain exclusive access to the stunning cliffside gardens. These private grounds are vast and can take hours to fully explore, offering hidden sculptures and the most breathtaking views of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Just wear good shoes and be prepared for plenty of stairs. The terrain is steep, but every step is a photo opportunity.

The combination of world-class Michelin dining and the history of the chateau makes this a bucket-list experience. It is expensive, yes, but for the exclusive access and the view, it is absolutely worth every penny. DON'T miss it if you are in southern France.

This was our 5th stay - same hotel and same suite. Our last time was almost 1 year ago to the day. The staff are always great. From the front gate valets to the hotel manager - everyone is wonderful and welcomes you back like an old friend. The room and serve are familiar which makes traveling more enjoyable.||Since my previous reviews have been very positive I will tell you the very few negatives I have about the hotel and Eze village in general: ||We do not like to get overly fancy in our dining and dress these days so, we don't use their top restaurant. As for the other restaurants and room service menu's I will say that they have been completely revamped and are quite limited and less that stellar. I'm referring to selections and not quality of the food. Some things are better left alone.||We had rented a car so, we mostly ate lunch in the surrounding villages. The valets were great and our car was always received promptly.||Room service /housekeeping could be a little better process. Often used glasses are left behind rather than replaced with clean ones. Likewise, hand towels are in short supply as are washcloths. Clothes hangers are still something you need to ask for because they only have a few in the closet space. There is a nice little coffee machine but, my requests for 'no decaf' coffee (asking to double up on regular) took a couple of days to get right. We also had to ask our room service person for extra sugar because that was limited also.||As for Eze village in general - while it is still as quaint and lovely as ever, I feel this will be our last visit because we are not in the shape we once were and the steps in the village are proving a challenge. Even the steps to get from our room to reception or to the front gate can wear me out. We may never return but the times we've had there are cherished memories.

This undoubtedly was one of the top hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. It was a perfect solo getaway. My private pool and jacuzzi were exquisite. The managers and the staff are top tier. I could go on and on. I can not wait to return. Thank you for making my stay so special and perfect. Every hotel after has felt like I am in a slum, lol.

This hotel is honestly amazing. If you want real luxury with loads of character and the most incredible views, this is the place. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is gorgeous with great service, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful — nothing is ever too much trouble. The head housekeeping / room service chap is INCREDIBLE! Sorry we forgot your name but you made the trip. ||We didn’t eat in the main restaurant but spent our evenings in the bar next to it, having tapas with a glass of wine, which was just perfect. The food and wine choice is excellent. It was our favourite place to eat and sit. In the mornings too with a cup of tea watching the world go by. ||The location is brilliant too — you step straight out into the little streets of Èze, and it’s also a great base for exploring nearby areas. Definitely the hotel to stay in if you’re after five-star luxury in a stunning setting.

Beautiful rooms with spectacular views of the bay below set in a medieval village 1400 feet above the sea. The access from the entrance to the reception is spectacular and highly landscaped with numerous seating areas and fountains. The only drawbacks were the door to our room was not numbered or lighted at night. The alleys you take to get to room are not well marked and can be confusing to navigate. Additionally these alleys are mostly uphill and have numerous steps so you must be in decent shape to stay or visit the village

Overall our stay was lovely. The staff were fantastic - warm, welcoming, helpful, etc.

A few constructive suggestions:
- the air conditioning in our room was inadequate. The room was too warm and the A/C needed to work much better.
- having no light in the shower was a bit hazardous
- we were quite disappointed by the shower arrangements when we arrived prior to allowable check in. Although our American Express booking entitled us to an early check in if possible - and i had Emailed a few times asking please to try to accommodate us since we were coming to the hotel straight from Nice airport after flying on the red eye overnight — it was disappointing that you couldn’t have our room ready any sooner than 2pm. Instead, we had to shower and change clothes down by the pool and the arrangements there were quite disappointing. For such an upscale and elegant hotel not to be able to provide a better set up for guests flying in overnight is quite surprising.
