Beautiful stop. Definitely look for the turn off as we missed it and had to turn around. Beautiful view of the falls. Bathroom and picnic benches available.

Leavitt Falls Vista Point has a small paved lot and is at the top of a 26% grade road. We kept walking past the wooden vista point to get a different view. The vista point provides the best view of Leavitt Falls, but it was fun to hike around and see the valley at different angles. There was a rainbow dancing in the mist when we were there at 4pm in July. We saw no way to get down to the fall (leave your bathing suit at home.)

Great stop, good views of the valley and the falls. Has a few tables and a pit toilet. Plenty of parking.

Close enough to the vista point to actually enjoy. Will not get good photos with a smartphone. DSLR with telephoto or drone highly recommended. Ranger at location was really cool about us flying here. A majority of Hwy 108 is stunningly beautiful and under appreciated.

Absolutely stunning. Offers amazing views of the falls and the valley below. There is a path that gets closer from the deck, but it's unmaintained and the soil is very loose, so use caution if you go. There's another spur trail that goes closer to the top of the falls from the end of the picnic area, and it doesn't offer a better view. Best thing to do is stay at the observation deck.

A must stop for the weary traveler on the sonora pass. It offers amazing panoramic views. Sweeping views of the valley and awesome views into Yosemite's northern wilderness. There are picnic tables and deck to walk out on for the overlook. Bring a picnic lunch and say a while, or be brave and hike to the waterfall.
