A beautiful rock formation on the banks of the Meuse river and is worth a visit. You can walk there it is around 2-3kms from Dinant centrum or you can also catch the rock formation while taking a cruise. The place has a lot of history ans is a must visit

Really cool and beautiful natural landmark! 🌿⛰️
Located in the charming town of Dinant, Rocher Bayard is an amazing place to visit — both for its unique rock formation and the stunning surroundings. The road that passes between the rock is a unique sight and a perfect photo opportunity.

We visited as a family and truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and scenic beauty of the area. Definitely worth a stop if you’re exploring Dinant! 😊😊

When you visit this beautiful town - Dinant, you would probably experience driving through this. I was informed by the local guide that this was due to a bombing during the war. There is a local legend which says it was created by a horse which jumped over the river while trying to escape enemy soldiers..

Beautiful landscape and scenary. You can see the rock formations much better from the canal. Therefore, would highly recommend a short trip on the canal. You can also view the 70 meter high bridge beside that too.

A cool way to enter Dinant is to drive through the gap in the rock and watch for the horseshoe imprint. I recommend looking up the mythos and history around the rock

Beautiful place in the charming Dinant. Tourists will be tempted to take pictures between the rocks but they should be careful as there’s constant incoming traffic and can be dangerous.
