On December 20, 2024, I booked a slot for the Learning License for December 21, 2024. Initially, I was uncertain about the booking and attempted to cancel it. During the cancellation process, I received an OTP (one time password) but did not enter it, as I decided not to proceed with the cancellation. However, upon visiting the RTA office today, I was informed that the slot was cancelled. As per the standard procedure, entering the OTP is mandatory to complete any transaction, including cancellations. I was told to re book again and pay INR 450.
If you cancel the slot, RTO office not giving back money. This is loot. This is clear loot of public money....I like to bring this issue to the attention of Minister Ponnam Prabhakar.

Work gets easier only if you pay money and go with agents, you also go manually but your file will be sent back with silly reasons and the same file will be processed if it goes with agent channel any thing it might be new vehicle registration new license renewal of copies even for Noc and hypothecation removal too

Humiliation after humiliation for ordinary citizens that prefer to go thru streamlined process. So you better pay up the Babus. This trail goes all the way up the chain. Just like as it did 50 years ago. Nothing changed.

A typical Indian Registration office,
If you know the process, the work is swift
Staff is moderately friendly and will share next steps to get your job done.
The Infrastructure the staff use is outdated, they got to improve in that area to get the work done fast.
I was aware of the process from their front desk.
Which helped me.
