I was admitted to ICU recently, while the nursing staff was excellent and caring, the MD's tended to paralyze their ability to give proper care. I was denied my regular medication with no explanation, I was kept in the dark about most of what they were doing, they continually forgot my requests. I had to check out early because I am autistic which fell on deaf ears. They have ticking clocks in every room, and at least two staff members were wearing aftershave. When I checked out, I told them I wasn't refusing care, I just couldn't stay in the hospital because I was verging on autistic meltdown which would have landed me in involuntary psych hold. No one asked, when I left there was zero follow up. Health care is stupid expensive and that's a tragedy, but health care when it exists, doesn't have to be so impersonal and sloppy as it was while I was there. Patient concerns over privacy and especially bathroom needs are not to be poo pooed. I'd very much like to address the autism issue with administration. If you give this post a contact, I will be happy to come in and talk to them about it. The only reason I gave this visit a second star is because of the nursing staff.

My sister was in ICU dying. We’ve been estranged so going to see her was difficult. I walked in and there were two nurses standing there with there back to me. Didn’t think much about that until my sister turned me away stating I had sent a text to her about wanting her to die, which was untrue and I told her so but she wanted me to go so I left. I had family attacking me and was told that the nurse had told them that I said something awful as I walked into the room( they would not tell me what it was I supposedly said) and according to them caused her to Have A seizure. I hadn’t said a word untill she spoke .I’m not a nurse however, if I was, I would think that if they heard me say something that was negative their job would’ve been to advocate and protect their patient and not allow me to go in the room in the first place. I don’t know what if any the protocol might but that would be the moral thing to do And whatever she claims that I said has cost me not just the ability to say goodbye to my sister, but also members of my family. I wish I knew who she was Because I would like to tell her that she has absolutely destroyed my family and put a hole in my heart that will never be repaired. And I hope that she does not have the opportunity to do this to somebody else.

They took exceptional care of my dad when he had his cancer and did a great job of keeping the family in the loop on everything. I had endless opportunities to visit as much as I wanted. The staff was so friendly and also they have a really good cafeteria, especially for a hospital. If you have the misfortune of being in a hospital for an extended period of time whether it’s you or a family member, this one is a really good option from my experience.

My two week daughter was given an extra dos of Hep B vaccine at her 2 week appointment. Although there are no known risks, this makes me very concerned as the staff involved were negligent.

I really loved our pediatrician other than this one BIG mistake on her part, along with the staff that injected it. Not really sure how to feel and considering moving our daughters to a new pediatrician.

We were informed of this error on December 23rd - our baby was born December 4th 2024

I had to have major surgery and the entire experience was great - fast scheduling, qualified and appropriate care, excellent results, so amazing nursing staff and support staff. I stayed at the hospital for four days and I felt very supported and cared for. It was also very clean! My doctor and the PA were friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable. I recommend!

Had a surgery done last night, every single nurse and doctor, anesthesiologist have been amazing. So very caring and compassionate. Receiving amazing care! Couldn’t be more happy to have had surgery here and be taken care of

I am extremely impressed Dr. Ru and her entire team during my recent visit. Dr. Ru carefully reviewed my lab results and explained in detail any of the results that were not within the normal parameters. Dr. Ru also took the time to answer my questions and provided detail follow up for my primary physician to review.
