Sandwich Glass Museum has many highlights. The introductory video, glass blowing demonstration on the hour, the automated exhibit, “The Hannah ‘Rebecca’ Dining Room 1880”, and the rotating exhibit are all worth the look.
The museum is fully wheelchair accessible and provides some seating. The display cases were beautifully designed, but lighting was inconsistent throughout the space. Many galleries were dark on the day of my visit, as the museum relied on natural sunlight, and the morning was overcast.
The signage was highly informative but written for someone with an extreme interest in glass rather than the general public. A map of highlights and an audio tour would have greatly improved the experience. If you are a history or glass fan, this is a great stop for you; otherwise you may become overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of glass.

Very interesting. They have a live show demonstration every hour. There's a 20 minute movie documentary about how it started and the history of the company. Many pieces of work to admire. There are also pieces of artwork (blown glass) for sale in the gift shop. It costs $14 $13 for seniors. I highly recommend this museum.

The Sandwich Glass museum does a great job of telling the history of the Boston and Sandwich Glass company as well as the evolution of glass making in the US.
The glass blowing demonstrations are a wonderful chance to see how a glassmaker works and to ask questions.
The museum and gift store is beautiful and the neighborhood is very nice.
This a great place to spend an hour or two!

First of all, this town is very beautiful. We saw really beautiful works from different periods in the glass museum. I think you can attend something like a workshop by paying an extra fee. Apart from this, you can buy glass jewelry and souvenirs at affordable prices. There are very expensive products, but I bought an earring for around 17 dollars. Don't forget to visit the town afterwards 🙂

I visited the museum one day, took the glass class afterhours another night. Both were fantastic, the museum is beautiful, well done and very comprehensive. A small gem! Great demonstration artists, absolutely a must to see them work their craft. The gift shop is a fantastic collection of amazing works of art, reasonably priced. I also had the opportunity to take the class, which was a HUGE highlight of my entire trip. Plus I get to take home my creation! I’m so excited.
