I passed my US citizenship interview. I don't know how to contact officer Duong,T. so I'm posting here, hoping he can see it. I was so nervous and the test process was terrible but in the end he gave me a pass, he was so kind and it will change my life, I really appreciate his help and wish him all the best.

I had a really bad experience with USCIS in Santa Ana the first time. I couldn't get an appointment for almost two months so I decided to go down and see if anything could be done about a green card extension for my daughter. They are severely understaffed everywhere in this agency and paperwork for anything takes forever. The guard told me they are in training on Thursday and it's the worse day to come down. Come at 6:30 am on Friday. Took his advice and got turned down Friday because I didn't have an appointment. They said to keep trying the system every 5 minutes which I did and finally got an appointment for first thing Monday morning!

The trick is to use a cell phone and keep refreshing the page until an appointment shows up. Their kiosks are useless.

On Monday it only took us 45 minutes and everyone was awesome inside the building and at the stations. Window 1 really knew his business and got us out of there in no time at all.

Fix the drinking fountains please!!
